The top most line displays some common BuddyShare information. The next line states your Buddy ID. You will need to exchange this ID with all your friends you wish to share information with. You can create a new Buddy Id by pressing the Generate button. Once you create a new Buddy Id, you will have to hand it out again to your friends (your old ID will be invalid).
Next, you will need to create a common Buddy Group ID which you and your friends will use. Make sure that everyone you want to share with uses the same Buddy Group ID. You can set your Buddy Group ID by pressing the Enter button.
The second step requires you to select several communication channels. Again make sure that all members of your Buddy Group use the same group of channels. You add channels by selecting a channel from the list box and pressing the Add button. To delete a channel from the list, select the channel and press the Delete button. The number of channels you can select is automatically limited.
Finally, you will need to enter the Buddy ID's of your friends to the Buddy List. Use the Enter button to add your friends' Buddy Id and some descriptive name (used to more readily identify them). If you need to delete a Buddy, select their Buddy Id from the list, and press the Delete button.
If you want to temporarily suspend BuddyShare, check the Disable option.
Note, it may take some time before you will receive data. Selecting a different set of channels may improve spotty or missing data communication.
When you are finished, click on the OK button to close this dialog.
