Product: FrontPage Concept Site Package: PM
The package contains the FrontPage Web Template and Theme files needed to create
a Web site using the "Project Management" look.
Description: How to create a starter Web site using the included FrontPage Web Template and Theme.
Requirements: You must use Microsoft FrontPage version 2002 or later.
FrontPage Themes can be applied to Web pages or Web sites created with FrontPage or with SharePoint Team Services. Themes give sites consistent fonts, formatting, bullets, and other design elements across all of the pages on which they are used. When we created the custom sites, we created a custom Theme for each site that you can use to apply to your own site. Keep in mind that Themes change the fonts and formatting of what you already have in the site; they don’t create new pages or new content on your pages.
FrontPage Web site templates can be used to create an entire Web site from scratch. We have turned the custom sites into Web site templates so you can use them to create a basic site, and then fully customize the site with FrontPage. The site comes complete with a home page, links, and pages ready for you to add your own content into.
The zip file contains an installer (.exe) that will install the Theme and template files. Run the installer by double-clicking on it and following the prompts.

The top header area is an "include page," created using the FrontPage Included Content Web Component. The Included Content Web Component allows you to create content once and then place it wherever you want in other pages. Included Content is easy to update even if it appears on many pages in your Web site. In our case, we named the header page topnav.htm. So to edit the headers on the sub-pages in the site, just open topnav.htm and make edits there.
The top horizontal navigation bar (in the include page) is based on your navigation structure. It displays the "Child Pages Under Home" level.
If you want to add links to the bar, you will have to go into Navigation View to see your navigation structure. Drag pages so that they are directly connected underneath the Home Page.
You can add more pages simply by saving an existing page. Open a page and go to File > Save As. Choose a file name for your new page - it should not have spaces or special characters in it - and click the "Change" button to change the Page Title (this is what displays on navigation bars). Then, go into Navigation View and drag the page into your navigation structure to get link bars to show up.
You can either change the copyright statement on each page, or run a search-and-replace command across your web site. Go to Edit > Replace, then type "© Contoso, Ltd. All rights reserved." in the Find field. In the Replace field, type your own copyright statement. Choose "All Pages" and click "Replace All."
